Mr. Daniel came to my in-home studio in Trophy Club for his 1 year/cake smash session. He was a little unsure about the 1 year portrait part of the session, but he totally nailed the cake smash part of the session. Daniel’s mom wanted a yellow and light blue color scheme for his session and I think that color combo turned out just perfect. Daniel ranks up there as one of my best cake smashers.

It seems like just yesterday I was at Holden’s home for her in-home newborn session and now he is turning the big ONE. Holden loves to eat crunchy things, so we hid a few crunchy treats in his cake to help encourage him to go for the eat. Ha!

I had the pleasure of taking portraits of Everett when he turned 6 months, so I was excited to see him for his 1 year/cake smash at my DFW studio to see how much he had changed. Oh boy, he is turning into one handsome little boy. Mom wanted aqua and gray, and I think those colors turned out just beautiful.
